BLOCK A - SIGNAGE
This project was based off my recent trip to Lisbon with college. I had to re/design four pictograms and two signs within Lisbon, it could be for a gallery, bus station or street signs. I chose to redesign the metro system as It wasn't the most legible in my opinion and because I found it hard to distinguish between the train line colours as I have colour deficiency. The final outcome was successful in my opinion but the 2D signs don't work as-well as the 3D signs I proposed to be used in the different stations.
Final Map for Lisbon using iconography to visualise the landscape and specific landmarks. This is a tourist map and would be used for for people of all languages, due to the clear icons that breaks the boundaries conventional language. This would then be used in an app where it would track your location (red marker) and guide you to the specific landmarks.
